“Brianna”

The Leigh Sakoda Foundation celebrated Father’s Day by making a very important grant to a 33 year old woman who has a very rare desmoid tumor that originally presented in her right arm 5 years ago. She has had to go on short-term disability leave in order to pursue daily radiation treatments and multiple surgeries at a medical facility that is far away from her home. She is the mother of 4 children and had to move into a small two-bedroom apartment in order to meet her monthly bills. This grant will help with medical bills and other living expenses so she may focus on her treatment and put her disease into remission.
